The HCC-300 uses the highly acclaimed "Anti Lobe Configuration" (ALC) technology. This technology eliminates phase cancellation that occurs in standard center channels. Phase cancellation is caused when the relative distance changes between two drive units in the overlapping frequency range. When you move just slightly to one side of a conventional center channel speaker a complex series of wave additions and cancellations are set up causing a general deterioration of sound quality. Aaron has eliminated this problem with some innovative technology called "ALC". "ALC" works by combining a scientifically calculated spacing pattern between speaker components with specially selected crossover frequencies. The HCC-300 is small and perfect for those circumstances where space is critical.
